  1. Select “Waste Generated” and click on “Next”

  1. Select the business facility associated with the waste data and click “View / Add Data”. Users may filter to different company levels for different time periods.

  1. Users will be asked if they have a waste treatment facility onsite - Click “No” unless your company processes waste onsite (i.e. incinerate waste onsite).

  1. Users will be asked if they have activity data on waste.

    1. Option 1: If you do not have waste data, select “No”. User will be request to indicate the number of full time employee working in this business facility. Our engine will estimate the amount of waste produced based on the number of employees.

      Click on “Save changes” and “Back”.

      Estimated data based on FTE will be shown as a yellow dot in the platform.

    2. Option 2: If you have data on amount and type of waste produced per month available, click “Yes”.

  2. Input the data for the different columns. Click on the tick to save data input.

    1. Select start month and end month from pop up box (mandatory). Note that the amount of waste keyed in per waste type will be averaged out over the reporting period (start - end month).

    2. Select waste category from dropdown (mandatory)

    3. Select waste type from dropdown (mandatory)

    4. Type waste amount and unit of measurement (mandatory)

    5. Once the waste type is selected, the system will update default percentages for waste treatment type based on country of operation of the business facility. Users can choose to specify percentage of waste diverted to the different waste treatment types (landfilled / incinerated / recycled / composted) if user has company specific data.

    d. Remember to click the tick button to save the data row.

  3. To add additional data, click “Add row”.

  4. After all waste data has been added for that business facility, click “Save changes” and “Back”.

  5. To view data reported for particular period, select the year from the dropdown. Dots within each month represent data completeness. Where data is present, the dots will be updated from red (no data) to green (data present).

  6. Head over to the Overview tab to view your emissions data!
