PART 1: DATA EXPORT

Introduction to Export

Our export feature allows you to download your raw emissions data from Unravel Carbon, enabling you to run further analyses on the data and include it in your own dashboards or reports.

You can export data using our default templates or create your own custom download using the available filters, giving you the flexibility to create the data set that best suits your needs. Follow our guide below to export the data:

Step 1: Accessing the Export Section

To begin, log into the Unravel Carbon platform. From the main navigation bar, navigate to Report > Export. This section provides access to granular emissions data from your emissions inventory.

Step 2: Selecting Your Data Category

Multiple exportable datasets are available (e.g., Fuel, Electricity, Travel). Click on “Data Source” to select the data you wish to export. Please see the “Default Data Source Templates” table in this guidance for greater elaborations on the default data source options. For customised templates, please head to Step 3.

Step 3: Customizing Report Display Columns

Choose the specific columns you wish to be displayed in your data export. These selected columns will appear in your generated report. Examples include: Year, Business facility, Emission scope, Fuel quantity, Unit of measurement, Energy conversion, and Total emissions, etc.

Step 4: Customizing Report Fields

To include additional data points, you can choose more fields from columns You may incorporate information such as:

• Month & Year
• Emission Factor Source
• A breakdown of gases (CO₂, CH₄, N₂O) Following your selections, click Search to regenerate the export with these newly added fields.
