Introduction to Emission Sources

This feature allows you to view all the emission factor sources used for your emissions inventory.

This can be accessed in the Emissions sources section of the navigation bar.

Understanding emission factor sources

By default, this page shows all emission sources for the latest reporting period, all facilities, and all scope categories. You may filter to the specific reporting period, business facility, and scope categories to view the data at more specific levels.

1. First, you will see an overview of:

• Total emissions (tCO2-e)
• Total number of rows calculated
• Emission factors granularity: % breakdown of spend-based emission factors (EFs), item-based EFs, and % of data with unavailable EFs

1. Next, you will see more details on each of the emission factor sources, including:

• Source name
• Published year
• Data Quality Rating (DQR)
